Yesterday, I met a really nice female bus 95 driver in the morning. It was super overcrowded as usual and I was the last few to sardined thru. So I was standing at steps, Mdm Hoe (I managed to see her name tag wahaha) stood up and grabbed my hand, asked the passengers nearby to give a little more space for me to go up the steps and then place my hand to hold on a metal railing. Gasps for air.. Okayyy, behind me was a guy, so Mdm Hoe asked him to exchange place with a girl who was behind him because standing at the door is more dangerous? Most probably I guess. The door was about to close, 2 guys dashed to the door. Without hesitation, Mdm Hoe asked for their ezlink cards, tapped for them and asked them to enter thru the back door since typical singaporeans don't like to move to the rear even after much begging from her. As she drove pass the next stop, she gave an apologetic hand signal to the passengers waiting at the stop.
She really went the extra miles to do so many things in just 10 minutes. For a moment I feel like giving her a hug and tell her that she made my day! And no wonder she is a SENIOR bus captain (her name tag said so).

During Pizzahut meal, Danielle and Yiting told me it's possible to stand-sleep in the train. Goodness. Maybe I should try that one day? But I think probably I will end up lying on the floor since when you sit-sleep, your head will unconsciously nods lower and lower till your head reaches your knees. Same logic applies when you stand-sleep isn't it?

The Anthropic PrincipleThe Anthropic Principle says that all the seemingly arbitrary and unrelated constants in physics have one strange thing in common - these are precisely the values you need if you want to have the universe capable of producing life. In essence, the anthropic principle came down to the observation that all the myriad laws of physics were fine-tuned from the very beginning of the universe for the creation of man - that the universe we inhabit appeared to be expressly designed for the emergence of human beings.So some of the constants and values that must be precise for human life and on earth specifically are:1. Oxygen comprises 21 percent of the atmosphere. If it were 25 percent, fires would erupt. If 15 percent, human beings would suffocate.2. If the gravitational force were altered by one part in 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (that should be 41 zeros :D), the sun would not exist, and our beautiful moon would either crash into the earth or sheer off into space.3. Even a slight increase in the force of gravity would result in all stars being much more massive than our sun, with the effect that the sun would burn too rapidly and erratically to sustain life.4. If the universe were expanding at a rate one-millionth (think about that!!), just one-millionth slower, the temperature on earth would be 10,000 degrees Celsius.5. A slight variation in the speed of light would alter the other constants of physics and prevent the possibility of life on earth. Btw, all this mind-spinning information is not a recent discovery. All I can say is that the earth is designed just for us by an Intelligent Designer! Don't you feel special? (:

Happy Blessed Birthday Mama! (:
Went to the newly opened Botak Jones near my house to eat just now. FABULOUS! Had large fish and chips, rosemary lamb chop and super big chicken hotdog set. It tasted so much better than the previous time I went with my classmates. This time, no hard rock cajun chicken ( you know rock?) and minced meat textured beef. *grins
Super full. Now I feel so fat.-
