Culture

" So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even when they're busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning."

This is so true. Many times, we are so busy in the siren of our own life. We ought to ask and reflect if what we are doing now are of meaning and good purpose. Are we really spending quality time everyday? I must say that the culture in this century played such a big role in determining what we are doing now. An example would be, a never satisfied educational certificate seems enough to survive in this world now. We will get so distracted and bothered by this. Hmm, maybe not everybody but at least for me, I'm rather bothered in the past when I was told that I can only wash test tubes with a degree certificate. For all I know, it may not work this way at all. Yes, certificates are definitely important and valuable, however there are so many things in life that worth a lot more.

" The culture we have does not make people feel good about themselves. And you have to be strong enough to say if the culture doesn't work, don't buy it."

The world have it's culture, what about your own culture?
